Description

We’d be delighted to find a Basic Grade OR Senior Occupational Therapist to join our growing team. We are open to supporting you to work part time hours (minimum 12 hours) either during the day or evening. Many of our clients will alternate between our speech and language therapists and our new Occupational Therapist, so there will be lots of collaboration, and team work involved.
If you have an interest in working particularly with autistic people, we would love to help you develop your skills. Our SLT’s style of work is through a sensory approach and we would love to have an OT maximise our clients potential through their work. There will also be an opportunity to engage in assessments of clients with other needs (outside of sensory). Our manager would love to hear what areas applicants want to develop their skills in.
Must have CORU registration (and commitment to documenting CORU + AOTI competencies)
An Occupational Therapist that can work confidently and independently, while also knowing when to seek advice. Willing to share any challenging cases and problem solve together. If you are a Basic Grade Therapist, we will provide supervision with a senior occupational therapist (along with peer supervision with speech and language colleagues) .
Caseload options (we’d also like to know what your interests are): Mainly paediatrics, Autism, Early Intervention, motor skill assessments (investigating dyspraxia, or handwriting needs), sensory processing, emotional regulation, school visits if needed . If you would like to work in a particular area we will always try ensure you get the work you want!
Hours available (flexible for part or full time): Monday to Saturday
