Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and self-motivated Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a contractual basis in the Gold Coast region. You will deliver high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to NDIS participants, supporting them to achieve their goals in functional independence, community participation, and quality of life.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct functional capacity and occupational therapy assessments.
  • Develop, implement, and review individualised therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals.
  • Provide therapy sessions in participants’ homes, community, or clinical settings.
  • Support participants with skill development in daily living, self-care, and community engagement.
  • Prescribe assistive technology and provide environmental modification recommendations.
  • Collaborate with families, carers, and support workers to embed strategies in everyday routines.
  • Prepare progress reports, outcome measures, and recommendations in line with NDIS requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission standards.
  • Engage in regular professional development and supervision.
