Job Description Part-time (4 days) position until 30 June 2026, with a high likelihood of extension to 31 March 2027. The Program Through the Early Childhood Approach (ECA) program, we support families by helping them understand their children's development and unique needs, find the right support services, and build the skills they need to support their child’s growth. We also connect families with local community resources to ensure they have access to the broader support network available in their area. Your role, your impact Looking for a rewarding career in early childhood intervention? Each needs an experienced Early Years Specialist to join our diverse team of Allied Health professionals, Social Workers, and Inclusive Education specialists. In this role, you'll: Deliver supports, in partnership with families, to help them achieve their goals, using evidence informed best practice. Use assessments, observations, and your understanding of child development to tailor support options that fit each child and family. Empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives using your coaching skills. Connect children and families with their community to ensure they are included and can participate in the settings and activities they choose. keep thorough records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals, in the NDIA business system. Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans. Who we're looking for A degree qualification in Occupational Therapy Expert knowledge in child development and early intervention along with the ability to identify developmental issues. Proven track record building relationships and supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities, including the implementation of effective strategies for families to practice at home and other settings.
