Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital an Affiliate of Encompass Health 189 May St, Worcester MA 01602 Occupational Therapist - Per Diem (Pool) Hourly Rate - $50 / Hour - Weekends $55 / Hour Purpose - The Occupational Therapist provides therapy treatment and patient care according to hospital, state, professional and federal regulations and guidelines. The position requires effective communication skills for working with patients, families, caregivers, and departmental and interdepartmental contacts and competency in occupational therapy evaluation, assessment, care planning and treatment. The Occupational Therapist creates an environment and culture that enables the hospital to fulfill its mission by providing patient safety and patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities & Tasks - Evaluates patients and develops care per regulations and professional standards; administers skilled occupational therapy treatment and monitors patient response; tracks and documents occupational therapy treatment, patient performance, progress, and response to care; plans for patient discharge. Qualifications - Current state licensure in Occupational Therapy; BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
