Description
Description Occupational Therapist (OT) – Find Purpose and Belonging in Senior Living Care The Clinton Presbyterian Community – Clinton, SC Faith-Based Nonprofit | In-House Therapy Model | Full-Time Where Care Meets Calling At The Clinton Presbyterian Community, therapy is more than a clinical service — it’s part of a shared mission to support independence, dignity, and quality of life for older adults. As part of Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC), our therapy teams are woven into the life of the community, not operated by an outside contracted therapy company. We have built a model that values quality over quotas, collaboration over competition, and professional development over micromanagement. Every day, therapists see the direct impact of their work — on resident progress, on team relationships, and on the stability of a culture that helps them grow. Recognized for Excellence PCSC communities consistently earn 5-Star CMS ratings and recognition from U.S. News & World Report as Best Nursing Homes for Short-Term Rehabilitation. These outcomes reflect the strength of our in-house model, the stability of our therapy departments, and the dedication of our clinicians. Success like this doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from empowered therapists who take pride in their craft and the mission guiding their care. See our U.S. News Rating Why Join Our In-House Model at Clinton? PCSC’s in-house therapy structure creates a fundamentally different experience from a contract therapy provider. At Clinton, you’ll benefit from: i. Clinical Autonomy & Quality Alignment · You are employed by PCSC — not a third-party contractor — which means treatment approaches, care planning, and clinical decisions are driven by resident needs and best practices, not productivity quotas or external financial pressures. ii. True Collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team · Therapists are fully integrated into the community’s daily rhythm, working closely with nursing, social services, activities, chaplaincy, and leadership. iii. Engagement, Growth, and Professional Development · PCSC invests heavily in continuing education, mentorship, certifications, and leadership development. Therapists also have opportunities to mentor students through our strong clinical education partnerships. iv. Therapist-Centered Staffing & Work Stability · Our model is heavily therapist-employed, designed for sustainability, predictable schedules, and long-term job security. What Our Clinton Team Says i. “Our Director of Rehab creates a space where you feel trusted in your clinical judgment. He has a calm, steady leadership style, communicates clearly, and makes it easy to bring forward new ideas or concerns. It’s the kind of environment where you feel supported, not micromanaged.” — Occupational Therapist Assistant, Clinton ii. “Working with Nick is refreshing — he wants his team to succeed and gives us the autonomy to shape treatment approaches that truly serve residents.
