Job Description: Grade 4 Occupational Therapist Subacute Lead Permanent Full Time About the Role You are an experienced Occupational Therapist who will provide advanced clinical care across inpatient Subacute Rehabilitation while supporting coordination and consistency of practice within these programs. You will balance a complex clinical caseload with stream oversight responsibilities, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care. Key responsibilities include: Deliver advanced occupational therapy assessment and intervention within inpatient subacute rehabilitation Complete and support staff in complex functional assessments and NDIS applications Contribute to discharge planning, goal setting and community transition planning Leadership of quality improvement, service development and clinical governance activities Your Contribution Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist Extensive clinical experience in subacute rehabilitation Demonstrated experience in NDIS functional assessment and report writing Advanced clinical reasoning with the ability to manage complex presentations and risk About the Occupational Therapy Department The Occupational Therapy Department at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne provides services across acute, subacute and community programs.
