Working at the Royal Children’s Hospital (RCH) provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside children and their families in a fun, bright and colourful environment.
You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to inpatient and/or outpatient infants, children and adolescents, within the Acute Neurosciences, Musculoskeletal and Trauma stream. You will deliver specialised assessment and intervention to children following complex trauma, brain injury and neurological events with a focus on recovery from acute injury and clinical care in the post operative period. As part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team, you will have opportunities to work alongside experts in their field and broaden your knowledge, skills and experience within paediatrics in an acute tertiary hospital setting. To ensure the inpatient occupational therapy needs are met on the weekend, this Grade 2 role will be required to work some weekend shifts.
