Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our healthcare team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across a variety of patient populations and clinical settings, including the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Emergency Department (ED), and Complex Transitional Care.
The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload and collaborate with multiple interprofessional teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This position is ideal for an OT who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a meaningful impact across the continuum of care.
Qualifications

  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
  • Member of the Canadian Occupational Therapy Association or Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Experience working with a variety of patient populations
  • Cognitive/perceptual assessment and treatment skills
  • AlphaFIM trained is preferred
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience in cognitive assessments and cognitive remediation/compensatory strategies
  • Knowledge and experience in the use of outcome measures
  • Must be flexible and demonstrate an ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with all team members
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities with proven time management skills
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record required

Additional Information
Hours: Monday to Sunday, Various rotating 7.5 hour shifts, 0800 - 1600 (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $40.011 to $56.425 per hour
