What You’ll Do as a Home Health Occupational Therapist: Provide skilled occupational therapy to patients in their homes based on individualized treatment plans. Develop purposeful activities and interventions designed to improve physical, emotional, and cognitive function. Evaluate patient progress and revise plans of care as necessary to achieve maximum functional independence. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment to support daily living and safety. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure well-coordinated, high-quality care. Document all care, assessments, and interventions clearly and in a timely manner. Support patients as they work to regain the skills needed for dressing, grooming, cooking, bathing, and other essential daily activities. About You Qualifications – What You’ll Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Current OT license in the state of employment and in good standing with the appropriate state board. Ability to work independently and adapt to varied home environments. Strong clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
