  GRAYS HARBOR HEALTH & REHABILITATION IN ABERDEEN IS NOW HIRING A OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST TO COME AND JOIN OUR TEAM! $50.00 - $60.00 /hr We are a skilled nursing facility that provides short term rehab and long term care. We understand the unique needs of those transitioning from an acute medical facility to home. The occupational therapist is responsible for helping residents with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities to develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills.  Full-time are eligible for: * 401K * Medical, Dental & Vision * FSA & Dependent Care FSA * Life Insurance * AD&D, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability * Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity * Legal Benefits, Identity Theft Protection * Pet Insurance and Auto/Home Insurance. Minimum pay - $50.00. Maximum pay - $60.00  **Placement within the wage range for this position is determined by years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions.** RESPONSIBILITIES * Evaluate patients' abilities and develop treatment plans to help them improve or maintain their daily living and work skills * Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and eating * Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment, such as wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics * Develop and implement therapeutic activities to improve patients' physical, mental, and emotional well-being * Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients * Document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed * Provide education and support to patients and their families QUALIFICATIONS * Master's degree in occupational therapy * State licensure as an occupational therapist * Experience working with patients with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills * Flexibility and adaptability to changing patient needs and treatment plans   Avalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.  If you believe this posting does not comply with WA law, send notice to Legal@avalonhealthcare.com [Legal@avalonhealthcare.com].
