Why Hunter (Happy) Coast Therapy?
Want to work for a team that gives a s**t about your happiness?
Don’t just take our word for it – Hunter Coast Therapy is a certified happy workplace. Completing our external happiness audit with flying colours by the BU Happiness College.
What’s our secret sauce? It’s simple and yet so easily forgotten. Only if you are happy can you then bring happiness to our community of trusting participants and stakeholders.
Want an environment that brings out the best in you? Want a team who care about each other and the work they do? Want to work somewhere that encourages you to have a life outside of work that’s just as important to you as well? You’ve come to the right place.
Hunter Coast Therapy has a unique and diverse workplace where not one size fits all. New graduates, returning mums to the workforce, busy families working part-time or experienced therapists making the leap into the contracting world of running their own business. If you’re a good human and we think you can make a difference for our community, we will find the right role that makes you happy to get up to every morning.
If you’re serious about prioritising yourself then read on to see if Hunter Coast Therapy is for you.
WHO WE ARE
Hunter Coast Therapy is a heart-led, people-first allied health service based in Adamstown, NSW. Established in 2022 as a Husband-and-Wife duo who were disenchanted with being a ‘number’ in larger corporations. HCT was built as a therapy business with heart and soul. We proudly make ‘dumb’ business decisions. But instead make ‘smart’ people decisions. Year on year we have added extra members to our family who also have this same desire to put people first. Now we have 16 special therapists working for our community and you could be the next.
We’re a collaborative, multidisciplinary team that supports children, young people, and their families through Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, and Physiotherapy services — and we’re excited to expand our support with the introduction of a new Counselling role.
We don’t refine ourselves to a clinical room or community only. We believe in therapy delivered where best fit. This can be at our friendly space, in the school, at the park, home or in the ocean. Check out some of our unique groups including Sense Rugby, surf therapy and nature-based therapy. We provide the tools for you to be creative and innovate.
Our approach is playful, person first, and values driven. We prioritise relationships, meaningful outcomes, and creating a happy workplace where both clients and team members thrive.
