As one of WA’s leading disability support services, we are seeking two passionate occupational therapists to join our Allied Health Team, with part-time and full-time opportunities available.
The multidisciplinary team incorporates occupational therapy, speech pathology physiotherapy, clinical nursing, and positive behaviour support, servicing the Perth metropolitan area, supporting adults living with disability.

The current vacancies for occupational therapy include:

  • Occupational therapist (experienced), with background working within an NDIS service and 2+ years clinical experience
  • Occupational therapist (open - new graduate, early career, experienced, varied work background)

The positions on offer are permanent and may be part- or full-time. We offer a flexible working environment, with options for reduced days or e.g., school hours considered. Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Work with adult NDIS participants with a variety of goals and support needs
  • Undertake assessment and provide therapeutic intervention for participants in shared living and community-based environments
  • Provide assistive technology and adaptive equipment assessment and recommendations, including applications and reporting
  • Complete Functional Capacity Assessments and Sensory Profiling
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including participants, families, support workers and the wider allied health team
  • Remain committed to the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework, and organisational policies and procedures and code of conduct

FOR EXPERIENCED ROLE:

  • Experience with NDIS processes, including assessment, report writing, and NDIS plan management and implementation
  • Experience in the assessment and prescription of assistive technology
