QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
  • Experience working with children and youth, especially those with autism spectrum disorder or other developmental needs, is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of sensory integration and pediatric OT interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our behaviour analysts, therapists, and families to help clients develop functional, motor, and self-regulation skills to enhance independence in daily life.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of fine motor, gross motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support client goals.
  • Collaborate with ABA therapists and other professionals for integrated care.
  • Provide direct therapy in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Coach and educate families to support skill development at home.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate progress notes and reports in compliance with professional standards.
