Description

We are seeking a Occupational Therapist to join our team in our Hummelstown, PA location. Position Details * Provides evaluation/consultation in all areas of occupational therapy following Merakey policy and procedures. * Determine the need for upper extremity orthotics and device; prepare, monitors and revise them as needed. * Creates and maintains appropriate documentation (including assessments, and appropriate tools to assess and goal planning) with accuracy and completeness. * Develops, conducts, and participates in training to all parties involved in providing successful therapy. * Works with Psychology Department on equipment required for behavioral intervention. * Collaborates with team to determine individual equipment needs, including wheelchair adaptations and feeding equipment in the Program and Residential setting. * Participates in developing work assignments for the Motor Development Specialist(s) in the area of Program implementation. * Makes recommendations to Program Director concerning overall goals, objectives and functioning of Therapy Department; assists in revision of Department policy and procedure. * Participates in OT/PT clinics. * Performs related work as required.
