At Neuro Nation Physical Therapy and Wellness, we are dedicated to helping individuals with neurologic conditions regain independence and achieve their highest potential in the comfort of their home. We specialize in mobile, patient-centered care for people diagnosed with conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury, and other complex neurologic and geriatric diagnoses. Our mission is to provide long-term support that prevents unnecessary hospitalizations, reduces decline, and empowers patients and families.
We are expanding our interdisciplinary team and are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist who shares our commitment to excellence, compassion, and innovation in neurologic rehabilitation.

POSITION SUMMARY

The ideal candidate will provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, assisted living facilities, or community settings. This role focuses on improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting safety, and facilitating participation in meaningful life roles for individuals living with neurologic conditions.

3. PATIENT & FAMILY EDUCATION

  • Educate patients and caregivers on safety techniques, home exercise programs, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Empower families to prevent decline and support independence after formal therapy is completed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current North Carolina OT license (or eligibility for licensure).
  • NBCOT certification required.
  • Strong background in neurologic rehabilitation, geriatrics, or related practice areas is preferred (or willingness to learn).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, patient-first approach.
  • Ability to work independently in a mobile/home based model.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with neurologic conditions (stroke, Parkinson’s disease, MS, brain/spinal cord injury, dementia, etc.).
  • Familiarity with adaptive strategies, cognitive interventions, and environmental modifications.
  • Comfort with electronic medical record (EMR) documentation

    Pay: $44.00 - $53.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
