Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Trust: Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation
Location: Erlegh House, Reading
Ward: CYPIT
Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
WHAT YOU CAN ADD:
We welcome applications from therapists with experience of working with children or adults with complex or neurological needs. Working knowledge of the assessment process for EHCPs would be helpful but is not essential. We are seeking staff, who are passionate about working with children and young people and keen to further develop their clinical skills.
In this role as a Band 6 Children’s Occupational Therapist, you will take responsibility for a dedicated caseload and clinical role under direction of our mainstream schools operational lead. You will work autonomously to carry out clinical assessments within your scope of practice, including identifying relevant therapy needs and delivering an individualised management plan. You will be working collaboratively with education staff to meet the needs of children attending Reading/Wokingham mainstream schools. This role may also involve the delivery of training to education staff or parents.
