Responsibilities

As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients across Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and treating patients within the hospital, including conducting home visits where required.
  • Supporting the senior therapist in service development and ensuring the provision of a high-quality therapy service.
  • Taking responsibility for staff members, delegating duties as necessary while providing appropriate levels of support.
  • Working towards the objectives of the Occupational Therapy/Rehabilitation Service.
  • Providing cover for colleagues in cases of absence to ensure continuity of care.
