Our Nursing Home Facility located in Rome, NY is seeking an experienced full-time Resident Finance Coordinator. Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed facility offering excellence in rehabilitation and skilled nursing care in a lovely homelike environment that recently underwent a LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION! With a focus on rehabilitation and recovery, our skilled team of therapists and healthcare professionals assist residents in achieving optimal health and well-being. Occupational Therapist, OT is to assist in planning, organizing, developing, and implementing Occupational Therapy services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the Director of Rehabilitation and/or the Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality resident care can be maintained at all times Occupational Therapist, OT must possess the ability to plan, develop, organize, evaluate, and implement the programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., of the occupational therapy program to help residents obtain/maintain their highest level of physical, mental and social well-being. Occupational Therapist, OT will Interpret and/or instruct in physical therapy policies and procedure to personnel, residents, family members, etc. as necessary. Occupational Therapist, OT will participate in discharge planning, development and implementation of resident care plans, resident assessments (MDS), etc. as necessary Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants as required. Maintain treatment records, resident files, and progress notes as required and maintain an adequate liaison with families and residents Requirements Must possess a current license and registration to practice as a Occupational Therapist, OT in the State of NY.
