Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. These professionals will work collaboratively to support clients in achieving their functional and therapeutic goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Occupational Therapist (OT):

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Registered/licensed with College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC)
  • Experience in pediatric setting is an advantage.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA):

  • Diploma or above in related field
  • Membership with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapy Assistants (CAOT) or completion of the OTA/PTA Exam (NOTCE) is an asset
  • Experience in pediatric setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Occupational Therapist (OT) :

  • Assess clients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy interventions to improve daily living and motor skills.
  • Educate clients, caregivers, and families on therapeutic techniques.
  • Document progress and adjust treatment as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic care.

Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA)

  • Assist the OT in implementing treatment plans.
  • Guide clients through prescribed therapeutic activities.
  • Document patient progress and report findings to the OT.
  • Ensure therapy sessions align with the OT’s treatment goals.
