CMHA is looking to hire a part-time 20 hours per week Occupational Therapist for our Young Adult Assertive Comm Treatment Program. This position will be located at 29 Russell St. New Britain, CT 06051.   Compensation Range: The annual salary range for this position starts at $35,250 Compensation for each position is determined not only by years of relevant experience, education, and skills, but also by maintaining internal pay equity. CMHA also takes into consideration our benefits and paid time off package to provide a well-rounded and competitive approach to the applicant’s overall compensation.   Position Summary: Provides comprehensive assessment of skill levels and daily functioning of Residential and/or Community clients. Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to develop treatment plans and programming for Residential and/or Community clients. Supports Residential and/or Community clients in the attainment of skills identified as goals to enable the client to move on to less restrictive levels of care in the community.     Essential Responsibilities: * Evaluate patients’ physical, emotional, and social needs through observation and assessment. * Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to improve patients’ functional abilities. * Provide therapy to patients recovering from injury, illness, or disability. * Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment. * Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. * Document patient progress and update treatment plans as necessary. * Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. Requirements: * Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. * Current state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Connecticut. * Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and rehabilitation methods. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. * Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.   We care about our employees by offering benefits that strike a harmonious work-life balance.
