Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient assessments to identify their physical, emotional, and functional needs. Develop individualized treatment plans that focus on improving the patient's ability to perform daily activities. Provide therapeutic interventions to improve motor skills, mobility, and strength. Evaluate and recommend assistive devices or modifications to the patient's environment to enhance independence. Educate and involve family members in the treatment process. Maintain detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals. Stay up-to-date with the latest occupational therapy techniques and research. Requirements Qualifications: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. State licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Strong clinical skills and the ability to assess and develop treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassion and empathy in working with patients and their families. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of occupational therapy. Physical Requirements:This position is primarily an action position requiring walking, bending, stooping, crawling, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds. At times must lift up to 75 pounds. Potential for long periods of standing. Must have visual acuity and manual dexterity to interface with the computer and other facility operating systems. Must have auditory acuity to effectively interact with patients and public.
