Provides direct patient care services in all assigned areas that includes evaluation, assessment, treatment planning based on the functional needs of the patient, program development, evaluation of the response to care and readjustment of the treatment plan as required. Plans and provides patient, family, peer and community education and coordinates services with other health care professionals including interaction with physicians responsible for the care of the patient. Required Qualifications: Has successfully completed the academic requirements of an educational program, including the educational program and supervised fieldwork requirements, for an occupational therapist that are approved by the board of the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, or the American Occupational Therapy Association. Upon hire: California Occupational Therapist License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 4 months experience in providing direct patient care. Internships are acceptable to meet this requirement. Preferred Qualifications: 6 months Experience in any capacity in an acute care hospital. 6 months Experience in a occupational therapy environment. Why Join Providence?
