Description Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a permanent opportunity in Atlantis, Florida. The Occupational Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete occupational therapy process for an assigned patient population in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient outcomes across the continuum of care. New graduate Occupational Therapists are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Perform patient evaluations and deliver occupational therapy interventions within scope of practice and professional standards. • Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status and contribute to individualized plans of care. • Provide purposeful, skilled therapeutic care aligned with physician treatment plans. • Observe, document, and report patient response to treatment and changes in condition. • Communicate payer requirements and care needs to physicians, care team members, patients, and families. • Prioritize caseloads and coordinate daily assignments and handoffs. • Support continuity of care across home health and inpatient/outpatient settings as applicable. Compensation Hourly Pay Range (Based on Experience) • $32.62/hour (minimum) • $46.50/hour (maximum) Requirements • Active Registered Occupational Therapist (ROT) license for the position being applied for. • Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required. • Minimum of 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience preferred; open to new graduate Occupational Therapists. • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date. • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient education skills.
