RAISING LITTLE SPROUTS IS LOOKING FOR A PEDIATRIC OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST!

Are you a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) looking to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families? Our mobile private practice is seeking a dynamic OT to join our team! We are a clinician owned private practice that offers services in-home and in the daycare and school environments to children aged 0-6 years, focusing on creating strong connections and empowering families. We are looking to expand our team to allow us to provide interdisciplinary services to families across Manitoba including rural areas.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Manitoba (COTM) in good standing.
  • Valid Child Abuse Registry Check and Police Record Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) within the last 6 months.
  • Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Availability to work 4 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-6 years and their families is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Provide high-quality, evidence-based OT services to children aged 0-6 years in their homes, daycares, or schools.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Implement child-led, play-based interventions that are strengths-based and neurodiversity affirming.
  • Educate and empower families with strategies to support their child’s development.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records.
  • Collaborate effectively with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Flexibility to attend, run and develop various workshops and presentations with other professionals and businesses.
