Conveniently located on McLeod Street, RHP has been serving the community for nearly three years, offering both clinic-based and outreach services including Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Speech Pathology, and Occupational Therapy.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting full-time opportunity for a passionate and adaptable Occupational Therapist to join our supportive and multidisciplinary team at Cairns Private Hospital.
In this varied role, there is opportunity to work across our inpatient rehabilitation unit, day programs, outpatient services, and in the community. You will be based at our McLeod Street clinic as well as travelling within a one-hour radius of Cairns to provide high-quality, patient-centred care.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans in collaboration with patients, the multidisciplinary team, and consulting physicians.
  • Support patient recovery through goal-oriented, occupation-focused interventions.
  • Manage a dynamic caseload while balancing administrative responsibilities.
