MASTER’S DEGREE IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, ACTIVE OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LICENSE AND 1+ YEAR OF OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. APPLICANTS WHO DO NOT MEET THESE QUALIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.

A full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity is available at an early childhood school in Quincy, MA, covering a leave of absence for approximately four weeks. This contract position offers the chance to work with a Pre-K caseload in a supportive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy services to early childhood students, focusing on fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct evaluations and document progress consistent with state and federal guidelines.
  • Adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of Pre-K students within the classroom setting.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a valid Occupational Therapist license in Massachusetts.
  • Experience working with early childhood populations highly preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a school environment.
  • Knowledge of current best practices in pediatric occupational therapy and related educational regulations.
