An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist to provide specialized support within a K-12 school setting located in South Burlington, VT. This contract position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on the educational experience of students with diverse needs primarily in a high school environment, with a focus on consultation and assessment services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy consultation services to support approximately 50 students with varying disabilities across grades K-12.
• Conduct assessments to evaluate student needs and develop individualized strategies to promote participation and success.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to integrate therapy goals within the school curriculum.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with school guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning interventions that address student challenges.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience working in school settings.
• Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy focusing on educational outcomes.
• Ability to manage a caseload that emphasizes consultation and targeted assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Comfortable working onsite throughout the contract duration.
