We’re currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a skilled nursing facility in Stockton, CA. Centrally located in California's Central Valley with easy access to the Bay Area, Sacramento, and the mountains — Stockton is a convenient and accessible home base for a travel contract. Details of the role: Anticipated start date: Flexible Salary range: Up to $2,340 weekly Anticipated duration of contract: 13 weeks Contract type: Travel, Permanent, or Travel-to-Perm Clinical Duties: Assess residents and create personalized OT care plans. Provide skilled therapy to improve ADLs and mobility. Treat orthopedic, neurological, and post-acute conditions. Teach adaptive strategies and safe use of assistive devices. Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams for coordinated care. Communicate goals and discharge plans with residents and families. Maintain accurate evaluations, notes, and progress documentation. Monitor outcomes and adjust interventions for optimal results. Follow facility policies and state regulatory guidelines. Required Qualifications: Active Occupational Therapist license in the state of California. Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Knowledge of post-acute rehabilitation, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment. Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans.
