FULL JOB DESCRIPTION

Spectacokids is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The perfect candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children and the expertise to develop tailored treatment plans for kids and youth with autism spectrum disorder. Responsibilities include assessing patients, creating and executing treatment plans, and offering guidance and support to clients and their families. The Occupational Therapist must also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Current registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)
  • Experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and/or complex behavioral challenges
  • Strong assessment, planning, priority setting, and problem solving skills; demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
