JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with the neurodiverse pediatric population, particularly in home and community settings, and will be responsible for assessing and treating patients to enhance their ability to perform daily activities.

EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with case management processes is beneficial.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality patient care with a focus on improving overall well-being.   • Experience working with young children and families
  • Strong communication and collaboration skill

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and strategies for daily living and self-regulation.
  • Document patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Provide case management support to coordinate care across various services.
