Description
Occupational Therapist – Telehealth & Community ($100 - $140* ph) Let’s be honest - you didn’t choose this profession to sit in rigid systems, burn out, or feel like “just another provider number.” You chose it to change lives, do meaningful work, and use your clinical expertise where it actually matters. That’s where CARED comes in. *advertised rates are inclusive of GST About CARED (aka the future of care) CARED is an innovative health tech ecosystem helping people take control of their health - right now. We connect high-quality clinicians with NDIS participants in real time, matching the right practitioner to the right person, every time. No cookie-cutter care. No mismatched caseloads. Just thoughtful, human-centred support - powered by smart tech. We’re growing fast, doing things differently, and building a community of clinicians who want flexibility without compromising quality. About the role (where your magic comes in) We’re looking for experienced Occupational Therapists who bring both clinical excellence and genuine heart. These are hybrid roles - combine telehealth from your home (or private professional space) with community-based, face-to-face support where needed. You’ll work with a diverse and meaningful caseload, including clients with: Ongoing therapeutic intervention Progressive neurological conditions (MS, Parkinson’s) Paediatric and adult clients across different life stages Neurodiverse clients (autism, ADHD) Psychosocial, intellectual and physical disabilities We receive referrals for assessments, reports, and ongoing intervention, and we take the time to match you with clients aligned to your experience, interests and preferred demographics. You’ll never feel like you’re working alone - ongoing client support and a collaborative clinician community are part of the deal. Seeking Assessment Only Work? If so, we can only offer Assessment Only roles to OTs who offer: Complex Home Modifications AT Prescription and Trials Driving and Community Mobility Assessments Of course, specialist expertise with assessments invite higher pay rates. Why you’ll love working with us Flexible hours - you choose when and how much you work Work from home and community-based sessions Innovative health tech environment (goodbye admin overload) Thoughtfully matched clients Work as little or as much as you want from anywhere in Australia Meaningful, values-driven work that actually makes an impact About you (aka our kind of human) You’re confident, compassionate, and clinically sharp. You value autonomy but love being part of something bigger. You’ll bring: Ideally, you have at least 3 years of professional post-graduate experience AHPRA registration Experience working with NDIS participants / people with a disability Experience providing online therapy / telehealth And, as an Independent Contractor with CARED, you’ll need: Capacity to provide assessments & ongoing therapy. This is not an assessment only role UNLESS you have the specialisations listed above A private, professional workspace with reliable internet, camera & mic Australian Business Number - ABN Appropriate business insurances (Professional Indemnity – PI, and Public liability - PL) The bottom line At CARED, we don’t believe flexibility should come at the cost of clinical integrity - or vice versa. We believe you can: Do work that matters Be supported, trusted, and valued And still have a life outside your calendar If you’re ready to work in a way that feels aligned, modern, and genuinely impactful - we’d love to meet you.
