Responsibilities Performs occupational therapy evaluations, establishes plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department. Qualifications Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy Active Occupational Therapy license in State of Kansas. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy. Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience Experience with computer applications including Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
Perform occupational therapy evaluations and establish plans of care for assigned patients according to AOTA standards. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote professional development within the organization.
