InMotion Therapy & Supports is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a Full Time Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team in Narellan. We’re seeking someone who is not only passionate about client outcomes but also loves the synergy of working as part of a team.
InMotion Therapy & Supports is a multidisciplinary clinic that provides therapy services including OT, Speech Pathology, Spychology, Behaviour Support and Support coordination to both paediatrics and adults.
This role is full-time but we will also accept part-time applicants.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for someone who has experience in working with an adult caseload including therapy, equipment Assessments, ADLs, and/or home modification assessments.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Has or willing to obtain a NDIS Worker Check
  • Current Drivers’ Licence & own car
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
    The role requires travelling to clients homes/aged care facilities and day programs so access to your own car for work and a drivers license are a requirement of the role. KM allowance provided in addition to salary.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting Initial Assessments
  • Developing goals with clients and other parties such as family members, case workers and other allied health practitioners
  • Providing community-based Occupational Therapy Assessments to your clients such as Care Needs/ Functional Assessments, Home Assessments for minor modifications, Assessments for Assistive Technology
  • Report writing: Assessment Reports, Progress Reports, Discharge Summaries, Housing NSW assessments, Assistive Technology and Minor home modifications
  • Working closely with clients, their families, and our multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Support Coordinators
  • Provision of therapy/ capacity building services, for example daily living retraining, equipment set up and training, upper limb/ stroke rehab therapy
  • Working under My Aged Care, NDIS, Medicare, Private and compensable insurance schemes
