THE ROLE:

We are currently looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join the team at Peter Arney Home in Salter Point. This role is a permanent part-time position working 53 hours per fort night.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and assist fellow OTA staff to conduct resident activities and outings correctly and safely
• Ensure records, statistics and progress notes are completed as required by the Occupational Therapist
• Assist with mobilising and transferring residents – moving from place to place and position to position
• Meet residents’ personal care needs, safety and comfort, whilst driving satisfactory completion of planned programs
