About the Role We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist to deliver high-quality care and help patients regain independence in daily activities. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and provide compassionate support to patients and their families. Key Responsibilities Assist in evaluating patients’ functional status and home environments as delegated by the Occupational Therapist. Teach and retrain patients in daily living activities lost due to illness or injury. Maintain accurate clinical records and submit documentation per organizational policy. Follow treatment programs and document patient progress toward established goals. Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure coordinated patient care. Participate in in-services, case conferences, and staff meetings. Educate patients’ families and caregivers on treatment plans as directed. Ensure compliance with supervision requirements and maintain ongoing communication with the supervising therapist. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Licensed by the NH State Licensing Board Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a COTA. Current CPR certification. Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle. Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills. Working Conditions This is a traveling position; reliable transportation is required for varied weather conditions. Physical Requirements Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods. Lift, position, or transfer patients up to 50 lbs. Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, or crouching.
