The Frenchay Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre in Bristol, provides high-quality inpatient neurological rehabilitation for individuals with complex brain injury and neurological conditions. As the Level 1 Neurorehabilitation Service for the South West, we offer 52 beds across both intensive (Level 1) and slower stream (Level 2) rehabilitation pathways. We are proud to be run in partnership with North Bristol NHS Trust, combining clinical excellence with compassionate care.
We are offering an exciting opportunity to join and support our Occupational Therapy team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. This role will involve supporting individuals who have a wide range of physical, cognitive and communication difficulties, to develop their independence in their activities of daily living. You will also assist with routine therapy-related and departmental tasks to ensure smooth delivery of our rehabilitation programmes
On the job training will be provided and you will be supported to develop within the role through regular supervision and appraisal. This position offers the successful post-holder to work as part of a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Neuropsychologists, Doctors, Nurses, Rehabilitation Technicians and Rehabilitation Assistants.
