What you’ll do at OhioMHAS: Assist in implementing and planning of standard occupational therapy treatments, techniques, and activities Administer standardized assessments Assist patients to increase skills necessary to cope with community and daily living Provide treatment to patients on one on one or in a group setting Participate in design, construction, of orthotic devices/adaptive equipment Provide community resources for peer support and recovery Refer patients to local county agencies Develop treatment goals and objectives Participate in treatment team meetings Maintain Patient logs and records of interventions Complete and compile written/verbal reports This is an hourly position covered by the OCSEA/AFSCME bargaining unit (union), with a pay range of #29 on the OCSEA Pay Range Schedule. Normal working hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday, Every other weekend, 1st SHIFT. This position is located at Northcoast Behavioral Healthcare, 1756 Sagamore Road, Northfield, Ohio. Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter. Additional Salary / Appointment Information: 3%25 increase July 1, 2026. Longevity supplement after 5 years of service Current State of Ohio Occupational Therapy Assistant License pursuant to Section 4755.02 of Revised Code. -Or limited permit pursuant to Section 4755.07, to persons who have satisfied requirements of Divisions (A) to (C) of Section 4755.06.
