Responsibilities Performs delivery of care following occupational therapy plans of care, and assures delivery of prescribed care to assigned patients consistent with standards of practice defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) and the occupational therapy practice act in the State of Kansas. Provides direction and clinical supervision to clinical support staff. Promotes occupational therapy services and professional development throughout the organization and community. Reports to the assigned leader of department. Qualifications Job Requirements: Associates degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant. Active Occupational Therapy Assistant license in State of Kansas. CPR certification. BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: Previous medical setting or rehabilitation setting experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver occupational therapy care according to prescribed plans and AOTA standards for assigned patients. Provide clinical supervision to support staff and promote professional development within the organization.
