THERAPY ASSISTANT (OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY)

At Therapy and Stuff Allied Health Services, we are passionate about supporting children and families to achieve meaningful outcomes. We are seeking a motivated, passionate and caring Therapy Assistant with a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance qualification and experience working as a Therapy Assistant.
This role is ideal for someone who is adaptable, detail-oriented and genuinely enjoys working with children and families across clinic, school, home, and community settings.
Employment Type: Casual
Hours: Up to 10 hours per week(potential for increased hours).
Salary: From $27 per hour + 12% super
Place of Work: Burpengary Clinic and Community visits (e.g., Home, Kindy, School)

• Deliver 1:1 individual and group therapy sessions as per Occupational Therapist’s plan.
• Assist with assessments by interviewing, collecting and documenting information.
• Engage in school, home and community visits to provide therapy supports.
• Prepare and adapt therapy resources to suit individual client needs.
• Build supportive and positive relationships with children and families.
• Maintain accurate session notes and records in line with professional standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, multidisciplinary collaboration and professional development.
• Follow clinic policies and procedures, upholding best practice and safety standards.
