Description We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of occupational therapy principles and be able to work closely with our Occupational Therapist to provide exceptional care to our clients. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping others. Responsibilities: - Assist Occupational Therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for clients - Provide direct therapy services to clients under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist - Provides skilled occupational therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist - Monitor and document client progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care - Educate clients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies to promote independence and improve quality of life - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment Requirements Requirements: - Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant - Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment - Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and strategies for various populations - Proficient in electronic medical record documentation - Flexibility to work with clients of all ages and backgrounds Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a variety of clinical settings (nursing homes, hospitals, schools, outpatient clinics) - Knowledge of adaptive equipment and assistive technology Benefits: - Competitive salary and benefits package - Opportunities for professional development and continuing education - Supportive work environment with a focus on collaboration and teamwork - Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients and their families
