Description Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Braintree | $37–$40 per visit | Flexible Schedule | Full-Time Benefits Must have 1 year of clinical experience For faster consideration, text your resume to 347-407-7262. USA Today Top Workplaces Winner 2024 & 2025 — still no bribes were involved (unless caffeine and snacks count, which… probably). Let’s be honest — you didn’t become a COTA just to count reps and wrestle with paperwork. You’re here to help people live safer, more independent lives — and maybe even have some energy left at the end of the day. At Visiting Rehab and Nursing Services (VRNS), we’re clinician-owned, which means the people making decisions actually understand what your job looks like. No micromanaging. No mystery mileage math. No visit-stuffing contests. Just real support, flexible schedules, and a team that actually shows up. We’re growing (on purpose), and we’re looking for a full-time COTA in the Braintree residential area of MA who want meaningful work without burning out. ________________________________________ Why You’ll Love It Here: Competitive Per-Visit Pay: $37–$40 — because “just assisting” is actually doing a lot. Flexible Scheduling: Mornings, afternoons, or that magical in-between zone — your call. Full Benefits Package: Medical, dental, vision — the whole adulting bundle. PTO + Paid Holidays: For real rest. Not “catch up on notes” days. 401(k) with Match: So future-you can relax a little. Mileage Reimbursement: $0.62/mile — your car will feel appreciated. Professional Development: Learn, grow, and sharpen your skills without the boring-meeting energy. Perks & Discounts: Because work shouldn’t be the only good part of your day. ________________________________________ What You’ll Be Doing: Providing in-home OT treatments under the guidance of a licensed OT (no trust falls, promise). Tracking progress, adapting plans, and helping patients hit real-life goals. Teaching patients and caregivers how to safely do the things that matter — from getting dressed to conquering the microwave. Documenting clearly and efficiently in a user-friendly EMR that won’t ruin your evenings. Delivering care that’s hands-on, heart-forward, and never boring. Consistent full-time caseload ________________________________________ Why VRNS is Actually Different: We don’t overload you with visits or bury you in bureaucracy. We partner with specialized programs like the ABI Waiver, which means steady, consistent caseloads — and leadership that understands what quality care actually looks like. Plus, our support team answers the phone. Like… actually answers it. Requirements What We’re Looking For: COTA (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant), licensed in Massachusetts 1+ year of clinical experience A great communicator who enjoys teamwork and can tolerate the occasional bad joke Comfortable working independently, without feeling stranded EMR experience preferred (ours won’t emotionally scar you) Home health experience is a plus — but not required.
