Champion patient progress by closely monitoring responses to treatment and collaborating with the Occupational Therapist to refine goals for optimal outcomes. Empower patients and caregivers through hands-on education, ensuring they understand the recovery process and how to navigate physical challenges safely. Facilitate seamless transitions by providing expert guidance on adaptive equipment and community resources, ensuring patients are prepared for life after discharge. Maintain clinical integrity by documenting every step of the patient’s journey and overseeing support staff to ensure the highest standards of evidence-based care. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Occupational Therapist Assistant temporary letter will be accepted until license is issued. Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
