Description
This position will support the Area Sales team and Centre Trade & Marketing teams to manage and grow assigned customer accounts in line with organizational strategy, goals, policies, and processes. Ocean Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing North America (NAM) Tender customers and ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant execution of tender-related activities. The role includes quotation management, tender execution, contract administration, and close coordination with GSC teams, including Contract Correction Team (CCT), Disputes, and Invoice Quality (IQ) functions, to deliver an excellent customer experience and commercial outcome. Shift - 6PM to 3 AM (Can be rotational basis business needs) Key Responsibilities Handle all negotiation rounds of Tender for Non-KC Customer Segmentation, ORA, Fast Quote, Seasonal Sync requests received online. Supporting the Dispute and IQ team on improving quality deliverables. Preparing, reviewing and validating customer tender templates and rate sheet using approved product rates. Ensure high accuracy and completeness in all tender deliverables. Prioritize and manage multiple tenders simultaneously to meet agreed deadlines and SLA commitments. Ensure adherence to tender governance standards, SOPs, and compliance requirements. Prepares Negotiation Package for customers. Supports projects and ad hoc initiatives within TCM. Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships to ensure alignment and successful tender outcomes. Communicate tender status, risks, and requirements effectively with internal stakeholders. Utilize digital tools, reporting platforms, automation, and AI-enabled solutions to improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. Support process transformation and technology adoption initiatives within Tender Contract Management. Who we are looking for Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. 3 to 5 years tenure with strong knowledge on Tender Bidding process in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Freight Forwarding, or related industries Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical and presentation capabilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency and accountability. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate outputs. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs. Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset. Basic knowledge of shipping, freight pricing, quotations, tenders, and contracts is an advantage. Open to working in perpetual night shifts supporting North America business operations. Eager to learn, grow, and take on new challenges in a dynamic global environment.
