Job Description
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum tertiary educational level
- 1 to 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Understanding of ocean documentation process or experiences in the industry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
- Pro-active, strong organizational skills.
- Good computer skills (Excel, Word) and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate with our customers in executing export bookings.
- Prepare various export documentation.
- Command in internal export management systems.
- Understand and follow internal standards and process to execute bookings.
- Prepare and document customer’s requirements in SOP database.
- Screening of customer’s creditability before shipment.
- Screening of denied parties before shipment.
- Comprehend internal quality standards and compliance policies. Apply in day-to-day execution of bookings.
- Handle billings to clients accurately and timely.
- Maintain good relationships with service providers (Shipping lines, trucking companies and CFS Provider and others involved).
- Declare permits if require after passing Customs Competency test.
- Timely responses to emails within 24 hours and phone communication within the same day.
- Escalation of problems to Management when necessary
- Take up additional tasks as required to meet the Department’s needs and goals.
- Meeting 52 hours Training hours per year.
