The Ocean Import Specialist position is responsible for the gathering of information from clients to determine shipping needs, performing daily reports, shipment tracking, and communication with clients, as well as booking freight services, coordinating pickup and drop off shipments for clients. They will advise clients on supply chain issues, update customer management software, and obtain shipping quotes from carriers. Location: 18620 Harmon Ave., Carson, CA 90746 Responsibilities Assist customers with the shipment process to include booking, quote/rate, tracking, scheduling pickup and invoicing Prepare and process required documentation for customers clearance, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading Consolidate or deconsolidate containers as needed to support operational requirements. Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments Enter service-related information into the internal system accurately and promptly. Manage relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience (0–3 years) preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is required. The base salary range for this role is between $55,000 - $65,000 annually, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
