JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Ocean Import Supervisor to lead and manage daily ocean import operations. This role will oversee shipment coordination from origin to delivery, ensure compliance with U.S. Customs regulations, supervise the team, and provide exceptional service to customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in freight forwarding, ocean import procedures, and team leadership.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in ocean import operations within an international freight forwarding environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of ocean freight, CBP regulations, HTS classifications, Incoterms, and import compliance.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
