Ready to tackle global challenges that impact business, society, and the environment? Come join us. The Opportunity As an Ocean Operator, you will play a key role in making sure shipments move smoothly for our customers. You’ll handle day-to-day operations with carriers, trucking partners, terminals, and internal teams. This is a great opportunity to learn global freight forwarding while developing expertise in ocean imports/exports. What You’ll Do Execute end-to-end ocean shipments (FCL, LCL, import, export) including booking, documentation, and milestone updates. Communicate directly with carriers, trucking providers, CFS/warehouse operators to ensure shipments are on time. Troubleshoot and escalate exceptions (rollovers, port delays, customs holds) to keep cargo moving. Update and maintain data accuracy in Flexport systems to meet KPIs and client expectations. Support account managers and customs teams to deliver great client experience. Learn to handle special cargo (reefer, DG, oversized) under senior guidance. Proactively suggest process improvements to make operations more efficient. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or related fields. 1–2 years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping lines, or logistics preferred (fresh grads with internships in logistics also considered). Fluent in Vietnamese, with good written and spoken communication. Intermediate English (able to read/write emails and basic calls with overseas teams). Detail-oriented, structured, and eager to learn global supply chain operations. Customer-focused mindset: you enjoy solving problems and keeping clients happy. What You’ll Gain Deep expertise in ocean freight operations (imports, exports, intermodal). Hands-on exposure to international logistics systems (carriers, customs, warehouses). Opportunity to grow into Senior Associate, Team Leader, or Account Management roles as Flexport Vietnam scales. Be part of a fast-growing international company with training and development from global experts.
