Description:
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CGI has a requirement for an Organizational Change Management Specialist that will be working with the Cyber Security Program to carry out the change strategies and plans in support of the effective adoption of new tools and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect and respond to cyber threats.
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop change management strategies and plans to support complex information technology (IT) programs and projects
- design and host workshops with stakeholders to understand impacts and readiness for changes
- develop actionable and targeted high-quality change management material, i.e., organizational change management plans and presentations, including a communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, risk mitigation plan and resistance management plan
- partner with key stakeholders across the organization to support the execution of specific engagement strategies and plans
- identify potential risks and anticipated points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns; develop risk mitigation strategies
- be an active and visible coach to those participating in the program
- identify resistance and performance gaps, and work to develop and implement corrective actions
- create and enable reinforcement mechanisms and celebrations of success
- prepare and research reports, briefings and presentations, and provide guidance and education on organizational change methodologies
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:
- bachelor’s degree in organizational development, business administration, communications, human resources or another related discipline
- five to seven years of recent relevant work experience in changing organizational culture
- advanced knowledge of Organizational Change Management principles, approaches and methodologies
- strong written and oral communication skills, ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences
- demonstrated experience in creating high quality change management materials.
- ability to develop and deliver effective presentations with clear and concise information.
- demonstrated experience working in conjunction with internal communication teams to Provide effective communications through a variety of methods
- experience with strategic planning
- familiarity with project management approaches and tools through all phases of the project lifecycle
- ability to work with technical specialists to ensure that departmental business needs and requirements are met
- proactive mindset with an innovative outlook – initiates change and develops solutions to problems
Assets
- Change Management Professional (CMP) certification
- Prosci Certification
