WHAT YOU WILL DO:

GFT is seeking a Overhead Contact System Engineer or Designer to join our Transit & Rail Practice in Toronto. This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Toronto office.

WHAT YOU’LL BE CHALLENGED TO DO:

Design of OCS systems, including overhead wire layouts, structural details and other schematics.

IN THIS CAPACITY, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:

• Support senior engineers in reviewing designs, cost estimates, and schedules.
• Attend project meetings, contribute to Value Engineering discussions, and help keep construction costs within budget.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and field teams on installation and field support tasks.
