POSITION WILL BE BASED IN OAKVILLE WITH FREQUENT TRAVEL TO OUR BRAMPTON CLINIC.

Responsibilities
  • Counseling patients on dry eye treatments
  • Performing dry eye treatments (ZEST, Radio-frequency, Lipiflow, Low-Level Light Therapy (LLLT)
  • Assisting the doctor in treatments (IPL, Dilation and Irrigation, Intraductal Probing)
  • Being attentive and aware of patient’s and doctor’s needs in the treatment room
  • Troubleshooting equipment
  • Cleaning and sterilizing instruments
  • Preparing patient charts
  • Confirming patient appointments and ensuring all necessary documents are completed
  • Pretesting patients
  • Conducting slit lamp examinations and measuring intraocular eye pressure checks
  • Performing various diagnostic tests on the Oculus Keratograph and IOL Master, knowledge on using the Auto-refractor and Lensometer
  • Ensuring accurate and comprehensive documentation is recorded in the electronic medical record (EMR), patient logs, and office communications.
